Gerry Harrington, L.Ac., M.S.T.O.M.

Gerry is a licensed acupuncturist, board certified herbalist, and an associate professor of Chinese medicine. He earned his Master's degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York. After four years of classroom and clinical study, Gerry traveled to Beijing, China where he studied with esteemed clinicians in hospital departments including: acupuncture, internal medicine, pediatrics, dermatology, and oncology.He has completed extensive post-graduate training in tui-na (Chinese bodywork), as well as advanced courses in acupuncture and herbal medicine.

Gerry became interested in Chinese Medicine through the study of Chinese martial arts. After witnessing his teachers treat students with tui-na, herbal medicine, acupuncture and qigong, his interest in Chinese medicine was sparked. Gerry was attracted to the holistic and straightforward approach of traditional Chinese medicine. In 1997 Gerry had the pleasure to live with his teacher Master Yang Fu-Kui. Master Yang introduced Gerry to the fundamentals of Chinese Medicine, as well as to the arts of taiji and qigong.
